Get Started for administrators
Troopr projects connect Jira software projects to Slack so you can manage all your Jira projects directly in Slack.
If you are not already connected to Jira, please read here about connecting your Jira Cloud or Jira Server to your Slack workspace.
You can get started by first inviting Troopr to a Slack channel. If you already invited Troopr to your channel during the onboarding process, you can skip this step.
Invite Troopr to a channel by typing the following command
/invite @Troopr Assistant
You will receive a welcome message:
Click on the " Onboard Troopr" button and select "Project Channel" option to set up the channel:
Provide defaults for Issues creation and listing in the channel (these could be changed during Issue creation). You can choose to set up the channel only for Issue preview as well.
If you can’t find Troopr under the App’s section on your Slack workspace, click on the Add App in the Slack sidebar and search for Troopr Assistant. Select Troopr so that it will start showing up under the Apps in Slack.
