Administrator roles

There are 2 types of administrator roles in Troopr. One is Workspace administrator and the other is channel administrator.

  1. Workspace administrator

The person who installed Troopr is the Troopr workspace administrator by default. Now you can add more administrators using Troopr workspace administration feature. Add any member of the workspace as administrator. Workspace administrators will have all Channel admin privileges except the ability to remove other channel administrators (until they become channel administrators themselves). Read more about workspace administrator privileges here

2. Channel administrator

Any Slack channel member can set up the channel to establish notification settings and channel formation defaults by default. However, if you need to limit this access to specific users, you can implement such restrictions in the channel settings. Read more about setting up channel administrators here
