Get Started
Troopr Report lets you share Jira project reports, charts, reminders and nudges privately or in team channels in Slack.
Before getting started ensure that your workspace administrator has configured Jira for the team. If Jira is not configured yet in your Troopr workspace, you can request the Jira administrator to complete that step first by logging into Troopr and following instructions to connect Jira Cloud or Server/DC.
1. Locate Troopr Assistant app
If you can’t find Troopr under the App’s section on your Slack workspace, click on the Add App in the Slack sidebar and search for Troopr Assistant. Select Troopr so that it will start showing up under the Apps in Slack. We recommend that you star the Troopr Assistant app for easier accessibility later.
2. Verify your Jira account (one time)
To verify your Jira account, Click on "Jira Login" on the Home tab of the "Troopr Assistant" App
Then Click on"Allow" on the Jira pop-up.
After verification, @mentions, personal notifications and nudges will be delivered as direct messages in Slack.
3. Create personal reports
Every team member in the Slack workspace can create a personalized list of Jira Reports using Troopr. Read more here.
4. Take action in Slack
View the reports created by the administrator and take action on them right in Slack. Read more here.
