Connect to Jira Server / DC
Troopr Slack integration for Jira fully support supports Jira Server and Data Center for both Jira Software and Jira Service Desk integration. Full functionality of Troopr's Slack integration is available for Jira Server / Data Center.
Step 1: Whitelist Troopr IP addresses
Before you get started, let us ensure that Troopr Servers are reachable from your Jira Server host. You will likely have to whitelist Troopr host IP addresses to get started.
For Inbound from Troopr Server(s)

Step 2: Connect to Jira Server (Jira Server Slack integration)
To get started, you can navigate to Jira "Connection" page by navigating to Troopr Web App and then to "Project (Jira)" then choose the "Connection" tab on the left sidebar.

Choose "New Jira Server/Data Center Connection" to start the connection workflow. It is recommended that you use a dedicated Jira account with admin privileges to set up this connection.
Step 3: Enter Jira URL
You will be redirected to the Jira connection page where you can enter your Jira domain and click βNextβ

Step 4: Create Application Link in Jira
In this step, you will have to create a Jira Application link from your domain to https://app.troopr.io

Step 5: Configure Jira App Link
Configure the created link and click βNextβ

Step 6: Secure the Jira Application link
In the final step, secure the created link and click βConnectβ

Step 7: Setup Demo Project Channel

You can choose to setup a demo project channel by selecting the jira project, default issue type.

Your jira is connected and demo project channel is also created in Slack.
Type following command in any Slack channel to open "Troopr Launcher"
