Add Troopr to Slack channel

Add Troopr to a channel by typing the following command

/invite @Troopr Assistant

You will receive a welcome message:

Click on the " Onboard Troopr" button and select the "Project Channel" option to set up the channel

Provide defaults for Issues creation and listing in the channel (these could be changed during Issue creation). You can choose to set up the channel only for Issue preview as well.

Execute /t configure and Click on "Advanced" to further set up the channel for:

Copy channel preferences

Troopr allows you to copy channel preferences from existing channels. When setting up a new channel with Troopr, if you want the same behavior as in an existing channel,  you can copy the preferences from that existing channel into the new one.

Setup

Once you’ve created a new channel, onboard Troopr by entering @Troopr Assistant in the channel.

Click on ‘Onboard Troopr’ and select a channel from the dropdown in ‘Copy preferences from an existing channel’.

You can check the preferences set in the selected existing channel by clicking on ‘Click here to open preferences page for (channel-name)'. Once confirmed, click on ‘Copy’.

You would get a message notifying the default preferences for the new channel. You can change the preferences by entering /t configure.
