Sync Jira issues with Slack

Troopr supports 2-way real-time updates of Jira issues in Slack channels.  Comments and file attachments added to the issue in Slack channel/ thread will get automatically updated in Jira and vice versa. This feature works with both Jira Software issues and Jira Service Desk tickets. 

Enable 2-way synchronization

  1. Go to the Troopr web app at https://app.troopr.io. 
  2. Navigate to "HelpDesk'' in the left side menu bar.
  3. Navigate to the "Channel Preferences'' tab, find the channel and click on ‘Configure’
  4. On the channel page, enable "Thread Sync" (if it is not enabled already). You can choose to sync all Jira updates or only comments.
