Sync Jira issues with Slack
Troopr supports 2-way real-time updates of Jira issues in Slack channels. Comments and file attachments added to the issue in Slack channel/ thread will get automatically updated in Jira and vice versa. This feature works with both Jira Software issues and Jira Service Desk tickets.
Enable 2-way synchronization
- Go to the Troopr web app at https://app.troopr.io.
- Navigate to "HelpDesk'' in the left side menu bar.
- Navigate to the "Channel Preferences'' tab, find the channel and click on ‘Configure’
- On the channel page, enable "Thread Sync" (if it is not enabled already). You can choose to sync all Jira updates or only comments.
