Troopr allows you to search Confluence docs from Slack using slash commands, message actions or emojis.
Slack Slash commands <link> are shortcuts for specific actions in Slack. Troopr slash command is /t. You can type /t in any Slack channel to invoke a Troopr action.
- Type /t wiki <keyword(s)> in any Slack channel.
- Troopr will respond privately to you with the Confluence document(s) matching the keyword.
- You can choose to share a matching document in the channel publicly or to a user privately in Troopr DM messages.
Slack message action allows you to trigger a Troopr action on a Slack message. You can use Troopr "Answer It" action on any Slack message to find and share pages matching keywords in the message. Troopr will respond privately to you with the Confluence document(s) matching the keyword.
- In the upper right-hand corner of the Slack message, click on the 3 ellipses icon to show the list of actions. Choose Troopr "Answer It" action.
You can choose to share a matching page in the channel publicly or to a user in Troopr DM messages.
Troopr has default emoji actions that would trigger a Troopr action instantly. The emoji action which helps you to get answers to your queries instantly is the 💡 emoji action. Drop the 💡 emoji on a message and Troopr would send the relevant document to you in a thread. Read more about emoji actions here.
