Get started for administrators
Troopr Wiki integrates Slack and Confluence to allow users to effortlessly find and share Wiki pages in Slack.
1.Connect to Confluence
If you are not already connected to Confluence, please read here about connecting a Confluence account to your Slack workspace.
2. Configure Confluence spaces
Articles from the configured spaces will be looked up for suggestions for requests made in this channel. Follow instructions here to connect Confluence space(s) to the channel
3. Tune the Confluence search behavior [optional]
Troopr will look for pages in Confluence that match the message in that channel. You can fine-tune the matching behavior by configuring the matching options and scope. Follow the instructions here to configure matching options for the search.
4. Get answers automatically
Get matching Confluence articles as answers for your query in the Slack channel or in Troopr bot channel. Read more here.
5. Search & share Confluence pages on demand
Trigger a private search on-demand and share the appropriate result as an answer in the channel or to users. See more details on how to do that here
6. Refine search keyword
Refine the Confluence documents Troopr suggested to you by triggering a new search using precise keywords. Read more here.
7. Inform team to post requests in the Slack channel
Inform the team that requests in the channel will now be automatically answered by Troopr with related suggestions from Confluence. Share this document to help them understand Troopr Wiki better.
8. Track usage metrics
Periodically track usage metrics to improve the adoption and efficiency of Troopr Wiki service. Read more here.
9. Collect requests
Employees may submit a request if Troopr Wiki suggestions do not resolve their problem. Read more here on how to collect the requests.
