Book Emoji Article creation
Using the 'Book Emoji', convert any Slack message into a Confluence page or choose to update an existing Confluence page. When the book emoji is added to any Slack message, the Slack message can either be used to create a new Confluence page or update an existing Confluence page. Add to Confluence
Create a new Confluence page form the Slack message by filling in the details required in the creation form.
Create from template
Create a new Confluence page from the templates you already have in your configured Confluence account.
Update Confluence
Update an existing Confluence page labels with keywords from the Slack message.
1. Hover over the Slack message and add the book emoji. 2. Choose the appropriate option ( Add to confluence or Update Confluence) and fill the creation form.
- Add to Confluence: Edit the Page title, choose the Confluence Space, page labels and page content and hit ‘Submit’.
- Create from Template: Choose the Confluence page, Confluence template, edit the labels (if required) and hit ‘Submit’.
- Update Confluence: Choose the Confluence page, edit the labels (if required) and hit ‘Submit’.
3. The Confluence article would be created/ updated in the connected Confluence account.
