This article is about configuring keyword aliases to broaden the search and find accurate matches Troopr searches Confluence pages based on the keywords found in the Slack message. Sometimes employees requests may not contain the right keyword for Troopr to find the matching page. Troopr allows you to add aliases to keywords so that Troopr can automatically match pages with the mentioned keywords or with the aliases to the keyword.
Steps to configure keyword aliases
- Login Troopr app: https://app.troopr.io using Slack SSO.
- Click on "Troopr Wiki" on the left side panel and choose "Channel Preferences".
- If you are setting up a Slack channel for the first time, choose the channel in the "Select Channel to Configure" section and click on "Manage".
- On the channel page, add or modify keyword aliases in the "Aliases" section.
When X is the keyword and Y is the alias.
User requests with X will match Confluence pages containing X and Y.
Note however that user requests containing Y will match only Confluence pages containing Y.
