Troopr’s Slack apphome has been updated to better fit the Slack users and provides quick access to all of Troopr's features such as issue creation, channel sync, reporting etc. Additionally, users can customize their own Apphome, while administrators can customize a global Apphome for all users in their workspace. Troopr’s dashboard design has been updated to provide a better user experience. With this update, administrators will have easy access to important metrics directly from the dashboard, making it easier for them to track the performance of their projects. However, please note that non-admin users will not have access to these metrics, as they are only available to administrators.
- When a public channel’s name is updated in Slack, it will now automatically be changed in Troopr webapp as well.
- Users can now view the product wise activities in a pie chart in Troopr web app metrics page. To access the metrics page, go to Troopr webapp - Home - Metrics.
- The workspace administrator who is not the check-in administrator can still mark people on leave in the check-in.
- Users can now answer a check-in from the webapp even if he/she is marked leave for that particular day.
Administrators can now set up Jira activities filter in Troopr webapp. This feature is available for the daily standup check-in. Once the filter is enabled and the condition details are populated, Troopr would only attach these activities, field updates from Jira in the check-in report.
- Check-in administrators can now add participants for an active check-in even after the check-in has run. This feature update is available only when the check-in schedule is set to manual.
- Administrators can now view the check-in report before the wait time.
Troopr Starter plan for Check-in customers is now free forever. Customers of any size can now use Troopr Check-in for an unlimited number of times for free. The free plan also additionally includes unlimited runs of instant planning poker for a limited time.
- Check-ins can be run an unlimited number of times with your team members. If you need another Check-in (for a different team or different purpose), you can disable the active one and use another and still stay within the one Check-in limit in the free plan. You will need to upgrade only when you need more than one active Check-in.
- By signing up for a free 14-day trial users will be able to use all 4 Troopr Products (Check-ins, Project, Helpdesk, Report). After this period ends, users opting for the Starter plan will have access to any one Check-in of their choice.
Troopr now offers a new instant Planning Poker Check-in which can be started with channel members instantly with /t poker command.
Instant planning poker works with Jira issues or with custom tasks. It comes with built-in reports, discussions and ability to re-run until there is agreement on estimates. This is in addition to the standard Planning Poker Check-in . Read more about Instant Planning Poker here.
Troopr Task Check-in lets participants update Jira issues at a scheduled time. With the new updates to Task Check-in,
- Participants have a reload button to get the current list of Jira issues
- Participants have a Done button to mark their Check-in submission as done
- Participants now see list of issues directly without having to click on “Answer” button.
Admin can now add team's absence data by using team absence feature (earlier was used by one user at a time.)
The feature comes with a start and end date layout under Bulk upload with CSV.
Admins can set global default holidays for Check-ins(only accessible by the admin),

Troopr Check-in is now billed separately from other Troopr products. Customers can get the benefit of lower prices when buying products separately. See pricing page for more details.

Check-in participants can now submit answers to the next Check-in before time. Just click on the “Early Answer” button in the Check-in answer prompt in Slack or in webapp.
- Troopr Check-in customers can now set an automated schedule in planning poker Check-ins.
Check-in admins will now be able to duplicate an existing Check-in without having to create the same from scratch.
- You can now add participants by display name or full name or email when creating or updating Check-ins.

Troopr now allows you to set default global holidays across Check-ins. Individual Check-ins will also have the option to override the default holidays.

Now you can schedule an anonymous team mood Check-in in 3 simple steps.

Team mood Check-ins can now be customized to choose the emoji for description of each option presented to participants during the Check-in.

Planning poker Check-in now supports answering with reason in web app. Planning poker Check-in can now be re-used with same JQL filters any number of times. The Check-in will dynamically pick issues based on the configured JQL and run a new session every time.
Planning poker Check-in now supports estimation templates. You can pick from built-in templates including linear, Fibonacci, T-shirt or blank and customize to your needs.
Customers can now set their own help docs link if they have their own getting started material for their team. This setting is available in the Feedback settings page. This will update the links to Help docs everywhere within Troopr.
- Task Check-in Jira activity log design is now easier to read and more compact
- Planning poker Check-in will now (by default) send report as soon as all participants respond
- Retro Check-in Action Items is read-only except for participants & administrators
- Check-in skip feature will be disabled after wait time when "late Check-in" is disabled
Now you can choose how Troopr expands context when Jira issues are mentioned in Slack. You can also completely disable this behavior. See configuration in Connection page for details.

Now you can extract action items from your team feedback and track them to completion. Extract action items by clicking on "Action Item" button corresponding to the feedback. Track all action items in separate "Action Items" tab. This feature is available in the web application and will be coming soon to Slack as well.
More options to customize how Check-in reports will render in Slack. Based on the size of your team and their needs, you can pick the option that is optimized for better engagement and alignment.

The person who installed Troopr is the Troopr workspace administrator by default. Now you can add more administrators using Troopr workspace administration feature. Add any member of the workspace as administrator. Read more about workspace administrator privileges here.
The new Check-in administration management allows one or more users to be Check-in administrators. Check-in administrators can manage Check-in including adding and/or removing other Check-in admins. Read more about it here
