Multi Message request creation

Convert multiple Slack messages in a conversation to one Jira request by using the multi-message action feature.

This feature requires marking the first and last messages in a sequence of messages and converting them into a Jira request. So if you want to convert 10 messages in a conversation, mark the first message using a :ticket: emoji, then use the :ticket: emoji again on the 10th message.

See how multi message request creation works:

Step 1: Mark the first message

Identify the first message in the conversation sequence and add the :ticket: emoji to it. Choose the "Mark Message" action in the following prompt that shows as a private message in that channel or thread.

Step 2: Use emoji to create a request

Identify the last message in the sequence and add the :ticket: emoji to it. Choose the "New Issue" action in the following prompt that shows as a private message in that channel or thread. In this case, Troopr will look for all messages sent prior to the current one until it finds the one with the marker (: ticket:) emoji.

Troopr will look up to 10 messages in history for marker emoji.

Step 3: Customize Request Details

The last message text is captured as a request summary and the rest of the messages are captured as conversation context in the request description.
